Thanks for the info....the explanation seems logical .....so, let me see if I got this right....if I deactivate Traction Control and punch the gas to WOT, there should be no/very little "hesitation" .....I'm assuming I can "test" this out with the car in Competition Mode (Traction Control--Off, Active Handling--On)....I'll give it a try and let you know how it turns out. If it is the Traction Control, then you should see Traction Control Active in the DIC when it goes off.

Yep but best to try this in a straight line!
Plus as BruceF oh so rightly said, if the hesitation IS really due to the Traction Control kicking in, indeed you would see TRACTION CONTROL ACTIVE on the DIC.... but you might not be looking too hard at the DIC while mashing...?

Thanks for the advice....."straight" is always good!
I was thinking of trying this in another passing situation similar to the one that caused the original "problem".....I love my Baby way too much to do this from a standing start (...I love the smell of napalm in the morning...not burning rubber. )
Wish me luck....and Thanks again all!! Posts: 131 | From: Rocklin, California | Registered: Apr 2002
