My door locks won't lock with the fob or the power buttons, I must manually lock the doors. The unlock works fine, from fob and power buttons. Do these work by vacuum? It seems strange that both stopped locking at pretty well the same time, the passenger side stopped a couple weeks ago the driver side this week. The unlock seems to have lots of push to it, any thoughts? should I just leave it alone and lock manually, I mean it's still just pushing a button..

Probably a bad relay or two in the Door Control Modules. There have been a few posts on the net about replacing the relays if you are handy with a soldering iron.

I had a similar problem shortly after I got my C5. I had NO control of the passenger door lock or window. Turns out it was a bad connector that the Chevy dealer was able to replace lickety-split (although not cheap). My only gripe with them doing the work is that they knocked a speaker wire loose, and then made me wait another day to have it fixed! I highly doubt that BOTH connectors/harnesses would be loose, though.
