Got my baby tuned up last Friday at the Chevy stealership. Since she's an '01 with just over 20k miles, so I thought I'd 'get her done.' Sometimes it's not so much the mileage as it is the age. While there, she went thru their 27 point inspection and checked "OK" for all. Service writer says that was impressive in itself. I've had all the fluids flushed and changed previously, brakes are like new and tires are like new. They replaced wires and plugs. The mechanic said the wires were brittle and were a SOB to remove. I asked about upgrading them and was told that the car was engineered to use these type of parts and I should stick with it. I thought so too. WOWWWW, she runs GREAT!! Price of tune up...
$ 519.58. Price was hefty, but job guaranteed for a year.

Congratulations my corvette brother aint nothing like a fine running corvette to place a smile on your chin. Just dont let your foot stick in the throttle too deep Smokey can ruin the grin with a citation. V1 or your radar detector of choice is necessary these days to protect the grin and wallet. Best of Luck [Hammer]
