I am having a B2578 issue, RF Turn Signal Monitor Circuit Short to Voltage. Any suggestions, advice, etc on where to start and what to do to remedy the situation is greatly appreciated. [Confused] [Save the Wave!]

It's current. The light blinks however, the arrow on the instrument cluster barely blinks.

As I was driving home from work, behind a black truck I noticed in the trucks reflection, when I applied my brakes, my driving lights went out and my fog lights came on. This was with the headlights off. If I turn off the fog lights, the driving lights still went off. Then I noticed my lights on the instrument panel blinks in tune with the turn signal, right only. Also both fog lights blink as though I have brake lights in the front.

Today on the drive home all was back to normal.

Just wondering if maybe there is a electrical wire underneath the car that may have been pinched or something

sounds like it was/is backfeeding. some causes are bad grounds, blown fuse, bad bulb [filament touching non energized circuit],bad wires /contacts. have you worked on anything lately

checked the socket, bulb and wiring as best I could. All checked out okay as far as I can tell. Haven't worked on anything lately. Off to the stealership when I get back from my Alaskan cruise week after next [Frown]
