I have been on several C5 sites and the general message I get about the callaway honker is that not many like it. I love mine, definitly felt power gains just wondering whats not to like?

yes $500 for an air intake is too much. It is a good looking unit just not worth $500 to me. To each their own. I even know some people that prefer the manual over the automatic trans... go figure

Thanks for all the replies, I have heard people say you dont want a bottom feeder.I Guess all that matters is that I am happy with the product.

I've been using the Blackwing for about 4 years and have been very happy with it. I have tended to experiment so when I saw a barely used Honker with the cowling I bought it for $268. The piece is very well made maybe better than OEM. I am concerned about how it will function in the rain and I am sure it will require more frequent cleaning as anyone who has looked at or cleaned their AC condenser will attest it get dirty up in there. MTI Racing tends to use the Honker on all their mods so I do expect good results.
