I got this model before it was on sale to the public and am ordering that exact car!
It is beautiful! Nice rims! Nice body style! Beautiful rich Ferrari like red!
It's funny how things work out! I love my C5! It's really fun and fast and handles great and suits my needs! I remember driving in a Z06 with the 385 HP engine and suspension and thinking that would be the ultimate Corvette for me if it was a coupe. Look at the C6! It has everything I wanted except a sequential shifter! I'm stoked! Looks like I may have mine the 1st week of August! Posts: 1010 | From: San Juan Capistrano, CA USA | Registered: Nov 2000

John - Buddy! Now that JB knows how to shift he no longer yearns for those paddles on the steering wheel but he convinced me that was the way to go!

I STILL WANT DUAL CLUTCH SEQUENTIAL SHIFTER BUT I DON'T NEED NO STINKING PADDLES!
All kidding aside..Zeroshift technology is supposed to be breaking on the TVR at the end of this year. Zero shift technology is supposedly even faster shifting than DSG from Audi and the upcoming Porsche 911 in 2005.
I contacted Zero shift and they have the parts in stock and far along in development for the retrofit kit for zeroshift T56 for Corvettes.

Life is Good Buzzer..I'm using the Vette between snow storms and enjoying every day.
Interestingly enough in this months british Magazine article from "CAR" TVR is speaking of these new transmission evolution as their own design of centralized syncromesh design.
I guess each manufacturer will be calling it their own. I look foward to the latter part of this year as they retrofit clients TVR's with this new transmission..
