I know! They all either hated this guy, or were all pretty dumb about the smoke. At first the camera guy moves around the car, almost as if he thought, could this car be doing a one wheel peal? Nope! LOL!!!
And I think tire smoke smell and clutch smoke smell are very different!

Talk about dumb. I think the "burnout" was in the driver's seat. I loved the fact the smoke was coming from the front right side of the car and not the back. Still the camera guy is silent. What did he say before he started? "Goodbye $800".

TC cuts the throttle first, then if that's not enough it pulses the brakes. This guy was on the brakes so hard he locked them down and did the burnout on his clutch. The general idea is to have the fronts hold the car still, but let the rears spin. I've done it before, but generally don't like beating on the car like that, so it's saved for special occasions, but from the few times I have done it, there's a very small window for the proper brake pressure. It's best to let the car drift forward slowly, that way you know your rear wheels are turning.
