Boy, C6's must really be reliable: not one single post.
I was just wondering how many people out there considering a C6 would opt for the $7,000 (going on my memory) leather interior option. All the car magazines out there have harped on Vette interiors, so I figure they are to blame. What's interesting is that they have done comparison tests which will include the Lotus Elise (which doesn't really have an interior) and they'll slam the Vette while praising the Lotus. All the while the Vette completely outperforms the Lotus on the track.
I can just see now the car that is optioned just the way I want it sitting on a lot, but it has that leather interior which increases the vehicle price by 10%.

I already have my C6, but I wouldn't have ordered the leather even if it was available with my suppliers discount.

Actually the leather option includes all of the options below it, so it's real cost is $3,100. It also adds a carbon fiber looking console trimmed in leather.

You mean all leather instead of just the seats and back?

Stitched leather almost porsche quality I hear. Who has it and is it worth the dough? More about what the option includes if anybody knows?

The entire interior is in leather. The dash, door uppers, arm rests, and center counsel all are in leather. I have seen it and it looks great, but I did not want to pay the extra money for it. The package 4LT is $8000 compared to the 3LT $4000 without the leather.

My buddies 08 Z has the upgrade it is awesome. The dash everything stitched leather he has money to burn. I couldnt see 8k for leather???
