its time for my third set of sneakers,looking for more than oem,s give [which is alot] i dont care about rain/noise or looks.i want better grip on turns and launchs.car see 12 plus dragstrip runs and 2 HPDE,s and 2 auto x,s a year.stock rims ,everyday driver. i tried to get michelin pilot sport cups [non runflat] but none to be found.anyone running tires that are better than oem,s ? tanks

Just look for a tire with a lower tread wear rating, they are softer and will give better traction, of course they will wear out twice as fast. T/A KD or Pilot Sports will give much better handling than the stockers. [Smile]

the reviews i,ve seen dont give the pilot sports an edge the cups maybe as they are a race tire. i will take a look at the kd,s. many thanks
