IMHO...Before you mod do some research. Contact local club(s)/owners for input on mods they've made. You can spend alot of cash on worthless mods that do little for performance.

I am 68 and my '01 Convertible is my 5th Corvette. It is the first one that I bought new. I have owned several Jaguars, Mercedes and Porsches, but keep coming back to Corvettes.

Of all the cars I have owned, my '70 LT1 was my favorite.

When I lived in Massachusetts years ago, I belonged to a Corvette Club. One of the members had a 1970 LT1. It had an incredible idle with those solid lifters. Man you could hear that thing coming a mile away. What a great car!

I just turned 60. I bought my Pewter 1999 in March, so I was 59 when I bought it. Wanted one since I was a teenager.

I just got my first Vette, I'm 51. I bought Camaro's, Mustangs all as a substitute for what I really wanted! I even got into bikes. I sold the bike and the Mustang and bought my first Vette 2 weeks ago. Best thibg I ever did! I've wanted one since I first picked up a car magazine. I have a 2000 black coupe, oak interior, a4, performance gears, acrylic top,and all the extras..
