Haha..thats funny...I have oficially taken mine out of "Garage Queen" status and started driving it more. I bought it April 2004 and just broke 16,000 miles....I cannot believe I wasted precious time and milage and not enjoying driving it more just to try to preserve it...shame on me Posts: 24 | From: usa | Registered: Jul 2006

I'm almost ready to turn the 40k mark. Really sad, I wish it were lower. But I bought the car to RIDE it, and enjoy every minute I can. Not just look at it in my garage - what fun is that?

I just wanted to do an update on the mileage thing on my 2004 since I started this thread. I didn't plan on driving my car so little when I got it. It's just the way circumstances worked out. I originally thought it would be around 3000-4000 miles a year. One reason we don't drive it more is because we also have a steel 1932 Ford Street Rod and a beautiful 1965 Mustang. But, anyway, the current mileage as of today, 11/24/2007, which is four years and 10 days after I took delivery of the car, is 6625 miles. My apologies to all of you who think they should be driven daily. But I just don't want to do that and it is my car!

Might turn 60k on my 99 this week if the weather is good. This car is tremendous. DGrant has over 300k on his 99. This car is meant to be enjoyed if that means driving it or just smiling at it in the garage congratulations on owning such a great car Posts: 2775 | From: Pennsylvania | Registered: Jul 2001

WOW..over 300K on a C5!! My world seems on balance now and hope has creeped back into my life. I use to think that 50K would be the life span on a C5 since my 2001 seemed so fragile. My 04 Z06 does not feel so flimsy and I can see light at the end of the tunnel now!!
