Hey guys. Tomorrow's the day! I have a buyer and we're making the transaction at my bank tomorrow. He's a cool guy and has really taken his time to check out the car. He came down twice from an hour away to look at it and drive it. He said, "it's everything I want." I owe a lot of that to all of you for helping me learn how to take care of a Vette the right way! I will miss it but I'm excited about my new financial goals. Thanks guys, see you around.

No doubt, I will have one or many more before too long. I'm going to invite my buyer to join us here. Maybe we'll see him around here soon.

I agree, as in my case, it took me 15 years to get back into my current C5; the delay was due to a jumbo mortgage and putting two kids through college...well worth it for certain. Joe

Dave,,,I am tickled for you in the fact that you sold your car and are now on your way to reaching your life goals. I know for a fact that once you are a Vette owner, you will always be a Vette owner and it will just be a matter of time before you will have you next one. I think I echo every member's sentiments in stating that we hope to still see you around on the forum giving us a blast and providing us with your input as well as your great jokes. Will we be seeing you in Hot Springs this weekend?? Mike

Thanks everyone for the "high fives." I was really impressed with my buyer and glad SEEFIVE is in good hands. Patience paid off and it was a seamless transaction. I will definitely be hanging around here. I joined Vette ownership about 5 years ago when I drove an '02 Mag. Red Z51 Coupe, then with my '89 and '99. I will ALWAYS be a Vette owner. If you don't see me here every so often, kick my a@@ and send me a P.M. and it will go to my email.
I don't think I'll make it to Hot Springs. Half the fun in coming is driving a Vette down. Anyway I've got some catching up to do, the kids have a swim team meeting Friday night and we're having some freinds over Saturday evening. My buddy's going to initiate me into pipe smoking. You guys have fun and post some pics when you get home. LATER!
