I talked to a few dealers and they want 50k to 100k over sticker for the early ones, I guess someone will pay, but not me.

I wouldn't pay one dollar over msrp for any car.. ever

Good luck to those that just gotta be first..

Never pay market adjustment.

Im sure there are dealers out there doing mSRP .. for those that want one..

Just keep looking.

I'm with you on that. The current Z06 was commanding $10-15K over MSRP at first, and now you can buy a brand new one for $7K less than MSRP...patience is handsomely rewarded with dollars.

i,m # 1 at my dealer,i put a deposit on it last year.HE said 20 k over ,i said now isnt the time to dally but not on my watch. i expect to 5/10 over.i had ordered my 07 z [to my specs] and paid 5 k over. why ? cuz i can.my 01 coup had 118k on it when i sold it my 07 z has 32k on it .i havent seen it but someplace on my body is stamped LIFE FORCE MAY END WITHOUT NOTICE

someone has offered hendricks chevy in N.C. $200K over sticker for the first one they get. how about them apples !!!!!

Guys...for the common folk, "let's get a grip on reality". For some, paying a premium for the first one's off the line (does one really want the first one's?) may be OK, but for most, its not. When one begins to speak of 6 figure premiums, let me say IMHO that's lunacy; perhaps for Jay Leno and his ilk it's not, but for the rest of us, dream on my friends. Just think about the dollars we are speaking of and all the other high performance cars (domestic and foreign) that fall into that realm of cost.
