"Vette" magazine recently reviewed the SLP exhaust system and recommended it. Has anyone tried it? I ordered it for performance and sound enhancements. I plan to compliment it with the new Vararam intake system.

I run the Bassani Twin Oval system during the winter months for that smooth exotic sound. When I switch back to my summer suspension set-up in April, I'll be putting on the SLP LoudMouth without the internal dampers for that summer bang'em sound!

The system sounds great! You will love it if you like "loud" as I do. Keep in mind that I'm someone who likes to temporarily run without any Catback system at all during the summer, so I really like the bang. My SLP's at under $600 has been very pleasing. One of my best mods ever.

I'm 20 miles from the Asheville airport. Raliegh is about 4 1/2 hours from here. Well, I've already ordered the sensor. But after research, one article said it would actually detune a 99 or newer. I have a 2000 coupe. What about the air duct?

Which air duct? If its the replacement air bridge, it also probably won't make a noticeable difference in power. So far, only my Halltech intake (K&N before that) made any noticeable power difference. You can gain more acceleration than those mods give you by just launching and shifting better. [Star Trooper]

I was thinking of replacing my Inty for a louder one. Is there a sound file?

SLP "Loudmouth" EXHAUST-
Thanks for the link, but that is for a Camaro or Firebird. Has anyone found a soundfile link for a C5? The dual exhaust and larger pipes should make the system significantly louder than the other.

I run the Borla XR1, no personal experience with the Loudmouth on the C5. I know of someone who has one and loves it, as does Top Speed. It is very loud and agressive. I'd wonder if it has any resonance like my Borla XR1?
