It works! here is how to tell, run around on the first setting then switch to the third setting stiff and you will feel every bump. I usually save this setting for competative driving on good surfaces. I usually run in the middle as the first is too soft unless the roads are bad and I am feeling old and lazy. It works the replacement shocks are just too expensive $600 each.
04 z06 shocks and turn off the f45 if you dont like it or dont want to spend the money. It is a nice option just too expensive.

The touring setting is too soft/mushy for me. I run the "sport" setting a large part of the time and save the "perf" setting for the mountains.

Maybe somebody already switched your shocks??
Get under there and see if they have wires hanging from them.

My 2000 convertible was the select ride option, are roads are pretty bad, and the difference was night and day. The softest setting was great for really bumpy roads, and most of the time is was on the firm setting.
