Hey guys, I need a little help with some codes. I found a list of code descriptions for a 2000, mine is a 2004, are they the same? If so, the codes I am throwing are:

P 0332 HC Knock Sensor (KS) 2 Circuit
B 0361 HC Left Actuator Feedback Short to GND
B 0441 H Left Actuator out of Range

If someone could actually tell me what these mean I would appriciate it! I just had some work done on the car, rear gears (3:15) and a fresh tune with a dyno run, would any of that work have anything to do with these codes? My check engine light is on, I reset the DIC, chk eng light went off, then back on when I drove the car again. Help!

Knock sensor could be a number of things and is what you should be concerned with. Call the tuner and let him know and any other symptoms related to engine performance. Dont worry about the heater door module your focus is on the knock sensor. It could be failing you could have timing issues you could have a loose plug wire you could have water in the fuel. Pay attention to that code it could save your engine.
Is the engine making any strange noise? Check each plug wire both ends is the air intake tight without leaks any smoke out the pipes? Until this is identified do not subject the engine to high RPMS

If it isnt something obvious you could have a broken valve spring or some internal issues. let's hope/check for the simple stuff first. Is the battery fully charged?

Thanks Leadfoot, new battery, plugs and tune. Already scheduled Dr appt for Friday, sent codes to my tuner, no strange noises or anything out of the ordinary, checked plugs and wires, everything looks ok. drove it like a baby home from work and is going to stay parked until Friday when I can get it to the shop. Yeah best of luck and hope it is simple. What temperature is she showin? Any oil pressure changes? I guess you would pick up on these just a friendly reminder where to look. COuld be the sensor croaked or water/weak octane gas or too lean a mixture from your tuner. Were you there when they ran it on the dyno? Was the check engine light on when you picked it up?
I wouldnt run it any more. Maybe just start it and idle if you got to. Did it run ok?

Unfortunatly I was not there when it dyno'd, but the light was not on when I picked it up, it took about a week for it to rear its ugly head. She is running at normal temps with good oil pressure. Its probably a tuning thing, she will stay parked until I have to drive it to the shop. Thanks again!

The sensors do go bad from time to time. If it does turn out to be the sensor you might consider replacing the oil pressure sensor while you're in there, if you haven't already. Might save you some labor $$ down the road. Good luck.

Sometimes it is! I am betting on water in the gas or too lean a fuel mixture maybe a bad plug wire worst case you broke a valve spring and I hope no other damage. If it is the sensor that aint as bad as it could be. The fact the car runs normal is a very good sign. Probably the tune is too lean. Best of luck

May be under the Maggie. I think P0332 is the rear sensor and is on the right side. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Not enough coffee yet.

OK what did you find out? We are all hoping you got good news and it is a bad plug wire
