both my front seats when not set all the way back have about an inch or so play in the track. ive pulled the seat and cant see a way to fix... any ideas?

A well known problem with the seat tracks.Search is your friend. There are many DIY fixes posted. hammer

Right! If you can take the seats out and seat tracks apart, you can fix it yourself. With a made part, or from a kit I have seen out there.

Strange to see this posting as I just noticed my driver seat moving about an inch both ways. It was the first time I noticed it. Annoying as hell. Thanks for the fix. Will make for a good project.

In the short term you can reduce the slide by adjusting your seat so leverage isnt so severe. Hard to describe but I move mine all the way back and adjust the tilt so the load isnt as severe. A weak point in a great machine that eventually needs correction hammer
