Probably are stuck. What are the codes in the DIC HVAC codes? Probably need to be recalibrated, reindexed or resynched. There is a DIY. Search under heater door? Can you give more detail about what you mean? Do you mean heater doors are stuck? No change when you select different settings?

Hate to say it, but have you checked for battery acid leaks? I'd pull the battery and see if you've got issues with damage to the vaccum system. Some times an acid leak will damage components. Good luck. Let us know what you find.

As Dan rightly states that is the place to look but it could be anything including a dead mouse hanging the actuator up... If you smell sulfer under the hood you got issues.

Do you have the automatic (digital) controls or the manual knob one?

You have tried changing the mode? Do you have the owners manual?. Have you checked the battery for leaks?

If you have a digital readout in the center, then it's the automatic controller. If that's the kind you have, a common problem is the electric louvers need to be 'recalibrated'. With the car running and AC on, pull/reinstall fuses #18 & 27 in the passenger floorboard. The motors should reset when power is reapplied if that's the problem.

If you have the manual controls without the digital display, the most likely problem is a vacuum line that's somehow damaged or not connected properly. As mentioned, look under the battery first.

I had this problem. Vents default to floor and defrost when the vacuum is lost that actuates the vent control. I looked under my battery box and found a hole in my vacuum line. I fixed it with $4.00 of 1/8 inch vacuum line and $2.00 for connectors.
