Where is the best place to get a new one? My outside section on the drivers side is broke. The small wing that slides up in the middle section has broken off leaving a gap, looks bad to me. The cheapest I've found yet is $90 for all three sections new, shipped. Is this good or too high.

Part numbers are:

10401458 – Center
10419312 – LH
10419313 – RH

A good place for most basic parts is here: http://www.gmpartshouse.com/c5partslist.html

Another good mail order option is Bob at Fichtner Chevy: 800-234-5284 or parts@fichtnerchevrolet.com

You can look up the "GM List" price here: http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/

Once you know the list and dealer prices, try going to your local dealer with the exact part number you need. One of the local ones in my area will sometimes give me the dealer price if I know what it is. List price for the LH piece is $21.58, ask the parts guy for a quote on piece 10419312. If he says $21.58 reply with "I can get it for $13.24 on the net" and see what they say. In this case $8 isn't worth much of a fuss, but this is a cheap part. If you're looking at expensive parts a 15-20% discount can be huge.

cheers

Mid America Corvette also has them.

In fact, I got both to replace mine since a previous owner hit too many parking lot blocks.

Thanks guys I ordered the spoilers from from fullthrottle corvette, they were the cheapest for the complete set of 3 at $85.95 shipped. I ordered the install hardware and support kit from Mid America Motorworks. Grant total of $118.92 that was cheaper than most wanted just for the center section.
