Hey welcome!
Pulsing pedal could be pads? Are the wheels(lug nuts) torxed to 100 ft lbs? COuld be build up of pad material on the rotors or they could be warped but from what cause? Warped rotors would be last on my list of causal factors especially with the use you describe.
Check the lug nuts(ask me how I know) Then examine the pads for build up or just subject the car to a rotor/pad break in procedure which is coming to a full stop from various speeds to clean them off. Could be a warped rotor but there are other things to check before coming to that conclusion. Just trying to be helpful not busting on you savewave

Welcome savewave

It takes quite a bit to warp one of these rotors, as leadfoot suggests, it can be lots of other things.

Do you feel a vibration (that you can possibly tell which corner it's coming from), or is it all in the pedal?

Any chance you got new tires or had the wheels off lately?

I wouldn't think it's warped rotors. Pads maybe. If you've replaced the brakes recently could just need braking in.

Dan me have hit the nail on the head. Take your car out to an empty parking lot and do several hard stops from 15MPH to 30MPH and let them cool good between each one as well as a good cool down period before you head home to see if this improves your issue.

The more I think about your issue the more convinced I am that it is pad material build up on the rotors. The break in procedure will probably work. You will be scraping the rotors with the pads so you might have to do it from high speed to a quick stop and then the slower speeds to get it all off. If you only see partial improvement, that is a good thing as it confirms the problem. What then? You need to dismount the tires and either have the rotors cut or use steel wool to remove the pad material. Best of luck post up and let us know how it goes so the next Corvette owner will know what to do when the problem occurs.
If it were mine I would go out on a Sunday morning find a suitable highway run it up to a significant speed and bring it to a stop with increasing break pressure to grind the rotors clean devilsmile

If you do the pad burn-in, don't actually come to a complete stop.

Do HARD stops from 60-15mph (hard, but without ABS kicking in) without completely stopping. Do that about 10 times, or until you notice a good bit of brake fade, then just drive around for 10+ minutes to allow the brakes to cool before coming to a full stop.

Ceramic pads will start to fade sooner than others, just stop doing the hard stops after you notice the fade.

Glad I found this thread. I've had a slight pulsing in the brakes since I picked up the car (used off a lease)several years ago and decided to give the "high speed break-in" scenario a try today.

Yep, got them good and heated up with the repetitive full on stops. Even smelled the hot brakes too! Figured I must be doing something right.

Some normal driving back to the house and into the garage, but I could feel a lot of excess heat coming from those brakes, so it got parked out side to cool down to ambient temperature in a nice westerly breeze today.

Sonofagun. It worked. The brakes apply smoothly and evenly now with NO PULSING.

My thanks to those who've posted up and made this possible.

As a side note, the wife says she would rather not be in the car then next time I have to do all those stops like that.

Thanks.

The A4 equipped Corvettes are especially prone to this...why? We keep the brake pads on the rotor while stopped. The transfer of pad material occurs when the surfaces are hot enough.we come to an abrupt stop and keep the pads on the same spot of that hot rotor until the light changes. Following the pad/rotor break in is very important. It is important also to burn off those deposits so you dont get uneven rotor surface from pad material transfers.
Got a very good friend in Matlache(sp) near you in Fla.

My son's 99 A4 warped 3 front sets of rotors in less than 50,000 miles. I finally put on Delco drilled and slotted rotors and new pads and have had no problems in over 60,000 miles. ( I noticed he liked to come up on red lights and stop signs fast and brake hard at the last second.)
