A guy local to me is selling this. What do you guys think for my 98 that has factory rims still. He has the spacers for the rear so they clear and also the lug nuts for it price hes asking is 750.00 cant get the pic to post

2 Fronts with Goodyear Eagle F1 all season in 245/40/R18 with 2/3 tread left
2 Rears with Kuhmo Ecsta SPT in 285/35/R19 one with 3/4 tread left, one New!

4 slightly used Genuine GM Factory C6 Corvette high polished wheels/rims with tires in excellent condition with center caps... 9 out of 10.

I would pass. The C6 rims will extend out of your wheel wells and throw rocks on your Corvette. Mis matched tires not the best but OK. Hunt for a while..once you buy you're stuck with your decision...it aint the best deal out there. There are many wheels to choose from half the fun is finding the wheels that you want. I'd pass but best of luck whatever you do

Thanks for the info. I will pass on them. I didnt like the fact the tires were mismatched and also he said there is a need for spacers. I actually the magnesium wheels that were a option so ill hunt down a set of them. I have two new F1 tires for the front and im looking for a set of F1 for the rears. The tires i have are original and would like to replace with the same for piece of mind if i get a flat.

I just never will mismatch tires. The "Gumby" C6 wheels don't look bad on a C5 though.

If you want a cool set of rims...one of our forum brothers has a set of HRE's for his previous c5.

HRE's are sweet and may be the best made rims. They are pricey though.

He has since bought a 2009 C6 coupe...so....I'm sure the price will pleasantly surprise you.

With the HRE's you have to strap the sensors around the barrel of the rims or like my last c5 z06...just have the pcm turn off the sensor bs altogether...

Just buy Hankook evo 12's for 600 or 700 delivered...have the pcm tire pressure monitor nonsense turned off or just have the sensors strapped onto the barrels of the wheels ...

The wheels Buzzer has for sale are probably the best wheels made imho. Great condition and a great price from a solid Corvette owner. I am very interested but gotta wait a few days to be sure it isn't an impulse/mod fever buy. I just put new wheels, tires, brakes and had my tranny redone.. Still I am thinking I want these.
