HArd to say..WHen it is hot I run mine to cool the air inside without outside air coming into the car. Make sure all your outlets are open. The lights on the buttons working? Got the fan turned all the way up? If on auto sometimes the fan doesnt reach the high setting. My 99 will freeze you out

The lights are on and the fan is all the way up. Is it possible the outlet is closed. The knob on the drivers side for hot cold just spins all the way around. The passenger side will stop. Is there a switch or lever im not seeing to close the vent off. I hear it makeing noise like its blowing hard. After reading that question it sounds pretty dumb but i had to ask

No dumb questions..leave the knobs straight up..The vents have 2 controls verticle and horizontal.. press and toggle thru the modes so you can control the air flow..it is a button on the right side

Is the air coming out the correct vents when you select them? Or is it coming out of all the vents at the same time? If it is the latter, you probably have a vacuum leak. Most likely from a leaking battery as the hose is below the battery.

If it's a vacuum leak, all or most of the air will come from the defroster vents.

Thanks for the info. I checked it and when i go to set it manually it comes out lower, front vents and top. It blows cold but cant seem to adjust air flow. Could it be the hose you mentioned under the battery. Is that hose easilly accessible by moving the battery and tray. What size hose is it if anyone knows off hand. Would like to have the new hose if you think thats the problem.

I believe so. i hit the mode until i can set the fan to high and hit the button that lights up and shows the air flow straight at my chest.

There is a seperate mode button that enables you to select the distribution of the air. You will see it change in the screen feet chest defrost. This is different from the lighted buttons on the unit. If the icon doesnt change or if it does and the air doesnt flow differently then we will trouble shoot.
