Sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere but my 1999 Corvette shows "check engine" light and the code is 410. What does the code 410 indicate?
Please PM Ted at tls1@att.net

Please post the full code and what module it is in. Codes are a letter followed by 4 digits.

I am using a scan gauge and all I saw was 410. Will go check again to see if I missed something.

Is the car wrecked? The first few codes with a C at the end show airbag deployment.

Also, as I stated previously, it helps to post what module the codes are in as they can show up in several different modules.

From quickly looking at these, I don't see a source of the check engine light. Those are typically in the PCM and start with a P.

10 PCM - NO CODES
40 BCM - B0017C,B0026C,B0051C,B0053C
99 B0333C
BO C2120C
These are the only codes that had a "C".
I just bought the car and was not told it had been damaged but apparently the air bags have been deployed although they look normal now. Where do I locate the "pages" referred to such as page 8-676 after the BO RFA?

The pages are in the factory (Helms) service manuals.

Is the airbag light on? It should be with those codes.

Also, because of those codes, you do NOT have working airbags. The system is shut down. And is is not unheard of where a car is repaired, but the airbags are not re-installed.

If you bought it from a dealer, I'd take it back and demand a refund.

Have you actually observed the airbags in place? With those codes looks like Bruce is right about them now even being present.
