Down here is So. Florida, a dealer has take a full page ad for the last 2 days offering what amounts to 12% off MSRP on '07 coupes and convertables.

The 07's are great but an o8 would be on the hit parade..

I've seen 5 grand off 08's.. 49 thousand dollar cars for 44 even..

Buyers market for sure..

Half tempted but holding off because existing ride is so dam much fun and paid for!

The lowest priced new Vette on the local lot is in the $61k range and that's an 07. The lowest Z06 is a 06 and it has been "reduced" to $81k. Every time I pass the dealership I wonder how they ever sell cars. I'd rather drive 3,000 miles east and save $15-20k.

Yeah...and there even advertising discounted 2007 Z06's too.

There are also discounts on '08's. Koons Chevrolet in the Washington area is advertising on the radio right now with prices down to $39,900. Their website has most of them rather more than that though!

Discounts on the 08's run about 10 percent...

I just bought from Kerbeck on a car in stock and its a blast..

Love the car...although I'd imagine the allure of the 07 discounts might sway some..

I just got hooked on the idea of new ls3 motor w/npp and went that route..

All great cars for sure.

I'm betting 09's have a direct injection 6.2 for around 475hp...

If not maybe 2010 but I couldn't wait..

Just had a card from my local dealer, Criswell. 07 verts for $4k off invoice. Given the housing situation, the trickle down effect is noticeable. Not many people popping for new cars.
