should i put a new air induction set up on a 2006 convertable ls2

IMO it's not needed on an LS2, but I did swap out the paper filters for some K&N's on mine.

thanks for that advice, some say it will breath better. i will change to k&n. any advice will be helpfull.if upgrades are affordable & will make it better i want to do it before she realizes i have a coulple of bucks to play with,or she will somehow end up with all of it!!!!! thanks for your thoughts
