This may have been previously posted, I just started reading posts on this forum, but anyway, I thought it looked pretty cool smile But I'm just one of those ricer boys thumbsup I drive a 3000gt. Are there any other kits out there?

The best rice kit I've seen in a long time is the new RK Sport MY C5.

The rear actually looks pretty good; I just received their 2002 calendar/catalog, but it should be on their web site as well.

"I drive a 3000gt."

Well, I still drive my 1999 3000GT/SL because it is a darn good car for the money. Mine has been rock solid with ZERO problems. It still has the classic taper to centerline look that I liked almost 11 years ago.

However, if you want to know which car I like best, I'll give you a clue. I bought both cars new. The 1999 3000GT/SL is now almost 3 yrs old and has 37,400 miles on it. The 2000 C5 is now almost 2 yrs old and has 54,200 miles on it.

Do the math - then buy a Vette! wink You'll be glad you did.

BTW - I've never seen those pics of the new Lingenfelter Kit for the C5. I must say that after seeing them for the first time, I like the kit except for the nose. I think the nose of the C5 should remain stealthy and not so bold (ie, too much height in the nose). Lower the structural height of the nose, and I'll take it. Otherwise, the nose makes the rest of the car unbalanced - IMO of course.

Here's one of the nicer aftermarket bodies, IMHO.

I agree, the nose is a lil much. But I love those headlights. Bruce F, that kit looks kinda cool but I'm not a fan of the headlight cover.
Top Speed, I agree the Sl and Base models are good cars for the money, but if you want some serious power, you gotta get the vr4, which has too much car trouble for me
laugh
thanks for the info guys,
-Chris.

Hi Chris:

Welcome to the forum!

Check out this link for some other new ones that just arrived on the scene. I love the rear fascia on the yellow car. Very cool.
