I now own two hardtops laugh
I love my 2000 with N20 and HRE wheels and many mods.
But this Z06 rocks cheers I plan on adding 150 shot of N20 soon. Only problem I have run into is Z06 Goodyear tires suck in wet weather. I have almost spun out a few time just hitting small water puddles in a straight line  Active Handling did kick in.
Goodyear tires are great in dry weather, but suck with any water on the ground.

Congrats on your new car, but electron blue? What an ugly color lol My car does not get driven in the rain much but if it was a daily driver it would need better tires for the rain, but the F1 stock tires work better than I have ever seen a Goodyear work in the dry for sure. smile

Hillbilly,
Congrats on the rides! I just wanted to mention that the width of the vette tires has a lot to do with the driveability of the car on wet roads when you go through puddles. On my C4 I had different tires and it didn't help much when you plowed through a puddle (even the small ones). The car loves to hydro.... I almost lost it once on an interstate when I hit a puddle with the left side almost immediately followed by another one on the right side..... Got real squirley in a hurry! Maybe 80 mph didn't help!
Good luck with the rides... wink

I am running Pilot sports 18 inch all the way around, in Z06 size on my 2000. Handles water much better than Goodyears on my 02Z06

The Toyo Proxes T1-S on my car are some of the best rain tires I've ever had. Even in 295mm in the rear they never hydroplane (at least not yet). [Tie Fighter]

Congrats on the car. You might want to look into getting better tires for the rain if you plan on driving it everyday. It can be a sticky situation, and I don't mean the tires sticking, if the car was driven in rain a lot. Maybe you should just drive one of the other Vettes in the rain, this way you won't have to worry about it. Good luck.

Congrats on the New Z06! Wider IS better on the tires, except in the rain. I run HTRZ-II's day and night in all weather and not once suffered Hydro. I would not drive my car in the rain with my old stock EMT's. Entirely too tricky.

I'm reminded of a Borgian saying, "It is useless to resist us. You will be ZO6'd".

Or, something like that...
