Due to some unplanned off-roading excursions last year, I had to have some body work done on my car. While they were at it, I had them debadge the car, too. It might be heresy to some, but I like the C5-as-sculpture look.

If you had just posted the pics and asked us to point out the 'problem' it may have taken me a while to notice they were missing.

While I wouldn't prefer to leave mine like that, it does look good. Just don't go putting any Ford emblems on it and you'll be OK.

cheers

Don't worry, my first car was a '55 Chevy (neither of us was that old at the time, me or the car) and I've kinda been partial to Chevys ever since.

My first car was an '83 Horizon. At the time I loved that car, but I've been leery of Chrysler's ever since.

My first car was a 1950 Cadillac 6 volt. Mostly used it as an outside living room while trying to fix the electrical system. What a beauty devileek

Took me a second to figure out where the badges were missing, but then again I'm only working on the 1st cup of coffee this morning.

Looks great! thumbsup Now get rid of the front license plate and that will really smooth things up.

Dito on the front license plate. I wish all states did not require front licences plates. Here in TN. we do not display front plates, thank goodness. Your Corvette looks awesome. Nice pictures.

I wish I could, but I already give the cops enough reasons to pull me over.

The industry will have to go a long way to come up with a smoother, better looking design in future Corvettes. Yours is an example of good design. cheers savewave

I haven't run a front plate in years. Never had a problem with the cops. Even though the front plate is required here they just don't seem to enforce it. I'm sure they have more important things to do. thumbsup
