Got an idea for a thread. I dunno bout you but I got cabin fever and mod fever both. It might be fun and of benefit to post up some of the funny stuff we Corvette owners do as a result of MOD FEVER.
It might prevent new members from repeating some of the dumb shit we did under the influence.
It might give us all a good laugh and save us some money and time to boot.
What ya think? I'll kick it off
It could be mod fever when: you buy stuff that you arent sure it will even fit your C5 but you are sure it will make your car go fast

It could be mod fever when you lust for a supercharger even though you don't race the car rarely excede the speed limit and spend most of your time just cruzin and polishin. Your car is worth $18k and you are going to dump $7K on this gotta have supercharger. You ignore the facts that you will need a new clutch to go with this need a roof on your house, a root canal and you owe back taxes. Could be Mod Fever

...........when you order a $389 mod before
runing the checking acct balance.

...if you see your UPS driver more than most members of your own family...

...if you fill your guest room with mods before you even bring home your new vette...

if you buy a new short throw shifter...for your A4.
if you buy new brass headlight gears...for your C6.

If you look for more storage in the attic to store the stock parts you take off your Corvette after putting mods on.

I found out (a little late however) that lots of Blue Moons,
a credit card and a Mid-America catalog don't
mix. I use the credit card for Blue Moon
now and am much happier.

Until recently I had been using the same credit card for almost 10 years, I had every number on that card memorized. When I switched over to a rewards card last year they gave me a new number. At first I was ticked since I wasn't expecting the number to change, but I eventually realized that I could no longer "impulse buy" on the net unless I had my wallet on me. It's amazing how much more spare cash I have now

It could be MOD FEVER if you know you cant afford it and really cant use it and the mod costs nearly 1/2 of what you could sell the car for and still you nearly pull the trigger. Supercharger, priced out a brand new centrifical and nearly bought it. Talked myself right on into it.. no doubt it would be kick ass but I dont track the car, got no where to really let it out, run with the pedal to the floor most of the time and could buy a real nice Harley for what it costs. It was the Harley, that kept me from jumpin
