I tell ya what ever since I got my vette back in Dec 09. Alot of my co workers have changed there attitudes towards me. I mean being total butt holes. When I walk by them they turn there head and ignore me which I really dont give crap. I guess there just jealous. Any of you had the same kinda crap happen ?

Oh yeah.. my buddies consistantly find fault and try and "dis" my Corvette. Pure envy dont let it bother you. Makes the grin larger when you close the door and fire up that hot rod

My theology is to treat people the way they treat you. In this case like you said leadfoot. Let the big dog eat and let it put a SMILE on my face. One thig for sure I do work with a bunch of loosers, and I'm going home in my dream car. Now that's what i'm talking about !!!

Since they're your co-workers we can assume that you all make about the same amount of money. If you really want to get under their skin just ask if they need any advice on how to better manage their money so that some day they too can afford a vette

Since it is against the law to shoot them try taking them for a ride in your Vette to win them over to the right side. Start with the good looking women first and work your way down.

All sounds like good advice. I park away from everyone and they all know how picky I am about my car. And especially parking in my spot. I park right by the security guard and we also have security cameras. Which is a good thing. A guy got caught last year spitting chewing tabacco on anothers guys car. All that was done to him was a written warning. HAAAA I believe if I catch someone spitting on my car I would be writing to yall from my jail cell. I know how to handle the attitudes but don't touch my ride !!!

No, no one is jealous of my C5 at my office. Our leader has 2 Porches, a Lexus Roadster, a 69 Mecedes Convertable and a Custom 57 Chevy.

In my life's experience, it seems 'human nature' that people begrudge success, cars or anything better than they have. They are jealous. Even if they don't show it, they think it. Don't let it bother you. Fu-- 'em! Enjoy your Vette. Life's too short.

I have heard the "I wonder how much he gets paid" and so one!

It is funny because these idiots have second homes up in northern Michigan, snowmobiles and or bikes. Heck their daily rides cost more then my Vette.

They get jealous over an 11 year old Vette! I mean come on people!

Thankfully my new place is not like that and the owner digs cars.

I have one friend to this day that has never said nice car, or anything like that to me.
He owns a 77 Pont Can Am and has a cleaning maid, so go figure!

I would have never in a million years ever thought I would be in this position?? I got banned from a forum because of the Vette?? I showed some pictures and talked good about it and some ricer owner got in there and the next thing you know I'm banned ??? They can't take it
