Got the Vette out of storage today. We're having an early spring. Fresh battery, fired right up!! Washed and waxed. Sure drives different than my Malibu Hybrid!!!! That's one nice thing about having winter, you get a new Vette every spring!!

Leadfoot, I notice you have the sumitomo tires, I was thinking about them for my new tires. Great price, nice tread pattern. Are you happy with them?

If I may throw in my two cents, I just replaced
the runflats with Hankooks and couldn't be
more pleased. Better ride,handling,quiet,and
way less expensive.

I know how you guys feel. Years ago, when I lived in Massachusetts, I couldn't wait for spring. I belonged to the Eastern Mass. Corvette Club and every year they would have the annual shake down cruise to Martha's Vinyard. As soon as the salt was picked up from the roads in the spring, Corvettes would start to appear. Winters were tooooo long.

Our club has it's first spring cruise tomorrow through the Mark Twain National Forrest in SW Missouri, stopping at Roaring River Park for a rest stop and on to Eureka Springs, Arkansas for dinner at the Grand Tavern. Weather man is forecasting a high of 46 with like a 20% chance of rain. Screw it...I'm going driving tomorrow!!! thumbsup

What I can add...fwiw..is that I hadn't with all the snow this year driven my corvette in about 6 weeks?

I did last night...wow..What a phenomenal car..

Often times as we drive these cars so often...we forget...Take a short time off from driving them...and then go back..WOW

Really is an amazing effort by GM..(edit) the hankooks are an excellent tire choice. No question I'll buy them again...and I'll buy them from www.discounttire.com I believe) Best prices I saw. Under 700 bucks delivered for all four c6 tires..) Anyways..

Just a great vehicle..

Enjoy your drive!

JB
