What do you recommend to treat the door, hood, and trunk seals to keep from drying out and cracking? Mine are in good shape and I'd like to keep them that way.

Thanks
Jeff

A very light coating of dielectric grease works very well also.

The 303 looks good but doesnt last on the outside. I do what Chewy suggests. After my final detail, I rub dilectic grease carefully on all the rubber, annually. The weatherstrips are real expensive and getting harder to find. A pain to install. Best to keep them treated.
The grease will make a mess if you put too much on or get it on your paint. Do it carefully after your final wax is my suggestion. Let it sit in the sun and soak in.
Another tip is to remove all the screws in the coupe hatch area and everywhere on the car. The rain and water collect and begin to rust the metal threads under them. A little dab of naval jelly or other rust remediation trick you have and dilectic grease on the screw. I replaced the factory screws with a stainless kit in the hatch area of my coupe. The kits for the doors and under the hood really dont look right. If it is a keeper keep it dont let rust eat it devilsmile

Don't let that magnificent machine sit in your garage, drive it hammer

I had my C5 for 3.5 years, put almost 60k miles on it, and sold it for about $10k less than I paid. That works out to $225/month or about $0.18 per mile.

It was the best money I ever spent, right up to the point where I got my C6, which is now 3.5 years old with 47k miles. Between now and Sunday night it'll get about 1200 more, and I'll be smiling for every one of them thumbsup
