Just checking how many have and use a nose bra. I have one that is color matched to the car but have never put it on. It looks great sitting in the box, but I've always heard they can damage the paint by rubbing. I do drive on the high way quite a bit and often thought this should be something to consider. My thought is a true enthusiast would never consider such an option? Would be nice to protect against the stone nicks.

I had one on my TransAM. Black car, black bra, so it looked OK. Left it on for a two year stretch at one point, I think the paint would have done better without it But that was probably my fault, there was enough dirt and sand under that thing to fill in one of those yankee sized pot holes that leadfoot has around his place.

No money to fill em up Chewy! There are more and they are bigger than the last time you been North. My black C5 hood is speckled with white debris marks. Looks bad wish that I had used a bra cause now I am thinking repaint the hood. The dab on paint just doesn't blend. Over my younger years, I got pretty good at removing the bra. I would use it on the highway if I had one. It is too late for me now

I have had bras before on some cars. I would put them on for a long trip to avoid the crap those 18 wheelers throw up at you. Don't use it in the rain, that is where most of the damage and mold can occur.

Thanks for the feed back, sounds like a toss up either way. I think I'll put it on some time and see how I like the looks. I don't have any road trips planned but I do drive the highway everyday to and from work, not to mention stone nicks can come any time not just the highway.
Thanks guys
Jeff

Took the bra off last month. Everything seem in good shape underneath it. Oh wait, we're talking about the Vette.

I use the "poor mans" bra for road trips. You cover your entire nose with Blue Painters Tape. Seriously... Looks bad, but that's not why it's there!

I use a bra I got from GM and it fits well. I suggest you keep a good coat of wax on the front and use the bra on trips then take it off for around town. If it rains on your bra on a trip it will not hurt it. Just take it off when you get where you are going so it can dry and no mold can appear. Bras do a good job of protecting your front end from highway road rocks, bugs and dirt. Also bras do a good job on holding things up on a woman. If you know what I mean.
