I really want to put the gs hash marks on my c5 but I need the Dimensions of them I don't want to make them the wrong size or too close or far apart anyone know the right dimensions?

I would think you should be able to get that info from a Chevy dealer body shop.

The Chevy Dealer isn't going to have those for a C5. Just go down to your local graphics shop and have some made. Mine are 3 inches wide.

Who want to tell me when the hash marks were first was used on a Vette and why they were used...for 50 points.

In a championship when there were 3 identical Vettes they used the hash marks to diferentiate them-One had one mark, one had two and one had three..... the one that won the championship had 2 hash marks so to commemorate it they made the GS with two hash marks smile

Yep...during the 1960 race at Nassau, Bahama there were 3 identical Vettes entered just like Martin said, the crew chief put one piece of electrical tape on one car, and 2 on another so he could tell who was pitting and where they were running. thumbsup

Agreed- Do we slice a full Circle or Crescent on the Orange laugh

Crescents...always a large crescent and give it a little twist into your Blue Moon before dropping it into your glass. Damn..I am getting thirsty again and it is only 7:42AM!!! devilgrin
