Hard to believe but it is true. Due to serious and declining health issues, I gotta sell the Corvette that I intended to be buried in. I will be preparing an ad but will probably sell it local to friends or family. Sucks to be me, Bubbas.
I dont wanna discuss the details cause it aint good. The C5 and mine in particular, is the best car I have had the pleasure of owning.
If anybody knows tips on how and where to list it will be appreciated.

As for listing : try Cars.com i think they have run till it sells for a fixed price or a local paper like Autotrader or similar per se

So sorry to hear the news! There are so many things in this life that are more important than cars....yes even corvettes, so I wouldn't sweat it too much. Hoping your sell goes smoothly and a timely recovery.

I purchased my car this past April and noticed tranny trouble soon after, around the same time you were having yours replaced. I posted on this site first and you were the 1st and of course most detailed reply. I thank you for that and hope that you will still cruise this site and guide us newbies with your intellect. I often wonder how does one gain so much knowledge in regards to these cars!!

Thank you one and all. The best friends that I have not yet met! That is what makes this forum the first place I stop when cruzin the net.
I am in for a battle and the prospects aren't bright. None the less, I am not afraid.
Washed the Corvette took it for a cruize got it on the front yard and going out to buy the for sale signs. Got 3 interested friends that know the Corvette and how good it is so it should go fast.
Yea it is a car nah it is a kick ass Corvette and it is like cutting off my arm but it has to go. I can hardly drive it cant work on it any longer and it deserves better than to sit.
Maybe one day I will get another but it will be tough to be as good as this one has been.
I'll continue to stop bye from time to time just to check in an admonish you Bubbas that aren't posting. Enjoy what remains of the day, for tomorrow can be very different

Joe just because you won't have a Corvette anymore doesn't mean that you can't stop by and share your vast knowledge and general Corvette problem solving. You are one of the forum leaders in helping with Vette problems. This forum would be greatly diminished by your absence!
