Need some advice on my 2000 reading and visor lamps. I fear an electrical problem that in most cases wreaks of $$$$$. I open the doors and the courtesy lights work fine including the reading lamps. However, once the courtesy lights go out the reading light switches will not turn on either side. By default at least I know the bulbs are still good however cannot get them on when vehicle running.

The visor lights do not work at all so not sure if this could be a bulb issue or not but fear it is related to the reading lights.

I have not been able to determine with certainty what fuse is for the visor and would assume it may be tied in to the courtesy light fuse?

Anyone out there have or had similar?

Thanks

Are the dash lights turned all the way down?

Strange. You would assume that the lights for the courtesy and maps are on the same circuit, but to be safe, I'd check the fuses under the passenger toe kick panel.
