Help me please !!! I seen that Buzz said that it's and easy R&R of this part. Can someone explain what the easy part is ? My L/S Headlight motor burned out and the 3 bolts that I thought were holding it in have nuts on the other side. How does this thing come out. Thank you for any and all info. that can help me.

As long as it's only one of the motors, it could be a bad headlight control box (mounted vertically under the passenger side headlight), but is probably just a bad fuse, relay, or ground.

Read the description of the path the power takes to get to the motors HERE , and you can see the plug pinouts for the LH motor HERE , and RH motor HERE .

I'm guessing it's the HDLP MOT LH fuse under the hood.

I checked fuse # 4 and its okay. This all started when I wired in a quad headlight set-up from Eklers LONG stroy short it didn't work. but I did smell something burning ( NO SMOKE ) I quickly pulled out sending unit from kit while I was on the phone with a tech telling me what to do. YEA he needed more schooling. I turned off the headlights and the drivers side stayed up. Hence I'd say the motor is what I smelled burning , but was not even warm . I just don't know where to go from here . What do I check next ???

If you let the smoke out of something, I'd start by using a meter on the plug that powers the motor (without the motor being connected). First thing to do is set it to ohms and make sure the ground is good, then leave the - on the car frame and shove the + lead into the hole that should get power when you raise/lower it and see what you get. Watch the other side moving to be certain you're in the right hole, but just going up/down several times would cover everything, then move to the other pin and start over.

Chewy Okay found fuse # 3 blown R&R . Still no good. Fuse 3 is for right side headlight motor. I beginning to think this car was made on a Friday or a Monday . Ohm meter showed that I was getting flow. Where do I go from here ??? I'm totally confused now.

Sounds like you just need some old fashioned electrical troubleshooting, hopefully the dealership has someone good so they can find it before you need to take out a second mortgage to pay the labor bill.
