There is this new resturant in town and I really like this hostess that works there. Well last Saturday night I went there with some friends and got a parking spot right next to the door. After diner we were standing outside talking and I was leaning up against my Vette and I notice that the hostess is staring at us out of the window. Then she opens the door and says "that sure is a pretty car, who's is it"? which I reply that it was mine. Then she says "well, I've been staring at it all night...it sure is pretty" and I tell her thank you. I should have went and talked to her but I chickened out....man I am such a dork! no

My best guess is your young and getting so much action..you weren't thinking straight..

Go back and ask her out if you want her..!!

She sounds like a hottie! Plus she has good taste in cars!

When I was single..(many moons ago) when I went to night clubs..I always said..if I didn't get rejected at least 10 times..I didn't have a good night..

Remember the old saying..No guts..no glory!

Well enough remenising (sp) from this old married guy...LOL

(42 and still a dog! ) A respectful dog..but a dog all the same..

Have fun with whatever you do..and never sweat the rejection..hell its half the fun!

Good luck..

DAVID LETTERMAN'S TOP TEN LIST!
TOP 10 THINGS YOU SHOULD NOT SAY TO HER

10: Do you believe in love at first sight or do I have to walk by you again?
9: What's a place like this doing in a girl like you
8: Actually, that Vette belongs to my mom. You should come over my place and meet her.
7: Was your father a theif? Because I'm just wondering who stole the stars and set them in your eyes.
6: What's your sign?
5: Haven't I seen you somewhere before?
4: (as she walks by you) Hey baby you want some fries to go with that shake?
3: Baby you must be from Mars 'cause that azz is out of this world!
2: You know what you should wear in place of those earings? Your ankles.
And the number one thing you should NOT say to her... drum roll....
1: Baby, you know what would look good on you? ME!

cool

Man, you are a Dork! I agree with you! laugh

But, you should not allow that to stop you from going back, waiting for that spot directly in front of the door to open up again, and parking your "cute little Vette" right in her line of sight.

This time get bold, go grab a table (by yourself need I say), and immediately demand that the "Hostess" come to your table right away as you have something rather urgent for her ear!!! When she arrives (all shaken up and wondering what the heck she's done this time) you simply speak these words very, very, VERY softly directly into her left ear:

”I was a fool last time for not saying this. This time I'm a scared fool (slight pause) but risking not having your presence at dinner with me this Saturday evening at any restaurant of your choosing would be worse than death itself”

Watch her face light up! And, bingo! Get ready to have that Lady sitting by your right side as you cruise the blvd. in your “cute little Vette”. wink

Let us know how it turns out. Don't worry – we were all dorks at some point. laugh

WARNING: It takes a real MAN to pull this one off. But, trust me - it works like a floor trader on the NYSE at the opening bell just after a Greenspan speach on lowering interest rates.

No matter how beautiful a women may appear..no matter how unapproachable..

remember..we're all just people on this earth..

Most important thing..have fun..enjoy yourself as you do what at one point in life seems very difficult..

Years later it will be a fun story to remember..among many...fun stories..

Key words..Have fun..and enjoy the hunt for true love!

Because when you find it..the funs over..lol I'm kidding of course but I bet I got a laugh out of you..

Being a fellow forum member and all, I would gladly show you how it is done. But then she would probably want to go home with me.

(best Seinfeld voice) Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Just tell her you race adjusted your suspension and you would like to get a ladies perspective of the ride. And, perhaps an evening on the town.
