Which body style was your favorite and why?

1967 Stingray was it for me. The styling has always been among the most beautiful.

Which do you prefer? What engine package?

The C5 is my favorite of all Vettes. The late C4 is my second favorite.

As the owner of a C5 I too find its overall package the best..thats why I choose to own one..yet as I look back towards the beginning of greatness..the early years really have some very special qualities...

The 1965 beginning of discs brakes..the 67 for the ending of an era..the 71 or 72 for the LT1 motor

The 73- or 74 for the end of Corvette big blocks..C3's for their evolutionary production run..

The C4's for their awesome performance and 13 year production run...Nice values on the market today...

What will become of our short run in Corvette terms...? Will it be considered the ugly big @ss orphan to the new C6?

LOL Happens every generation...

My favorite Corvettes came from 1963 through 1967, JB. Absolutely gorgeous cars. smile The C5 is next, and definitely wins the prize for most usable of all the generations. And no matter what comes out of Bowling Green in a few years, I'm convinced that the C5 will be known for its timeless style, just like those marvelous midyear roadsters.

c4c5, I noticed in your sig that you're Miss Mako's mechanic...are you talking about the one in the latest issue of Vette? (I think it was Vette, anyway) Nice car! But that ain't a c4 OR a c5. wink

My sentiments exactly. There is nothing like those cars from 63 to 67. I always wanted one. Never had the moolah to buy one though. My all time favorite was the 67 427/435, especially the few from Motion. Now that was THE car!!

Hi there Jet,
Yes, that is me, and it was the greatest honor of my career to do that project.
Joan, she took a chance on me, when noone else would.
If I am anything to the Corvette community, she is the reason.
I owe her everything.
Best to you, c4c5 smile barbiehasmyhammer

You said it, that's my favorite...next to my C5, however. I like it in the metallic green with the TRI-FLO and leg pipes
