Anyone want to compare notes?

In the past 14 months that I have owned my '90 Roadster, here is a list of some the things done:

- new canvas top
- new interior, including carpet and all weatherstripping

- redid entire audio, resistors and all, dynamat sound deadening, featuring a Sony Xplod head unit http://www.xplodsony.com/products/?CATEGORY=CD

- removed prior ground effects and replaced with complete Greenwood Motor Sports Kit
- stripped and repaired body
- added fiberglass bumpers

- lowered suspension
- new mag wheels
- complete custom exhaust system
- tons o other maintenance and modification items

PRESENTLY....it's no secret that I like the styling fo a C5 a touch better than a C4, but the biggest thing that made L98's stand out is all the alloy. So, I removed the top end of the engine and am having it polished.

- redid the fuel injection system
- had a "B" of a time trying to get custom wire looms to fit the EGR pipe. (please ignore the body filler dust)
- adding braided hoses, etc., blah, blah, blah

- redoing the hood
- just bonded a cowl scoop and cut out the heat extractor vents template. (man, that was fun!)

- had to modify the drain pan....rivet and silicone them into the wheel wells

- cut holes at the base, air filter, and the windshield cowl for ram air effect

- when finished it should look something like this

So what have you guys been doing of late? There's nothing like the smell of fiberglass first thing in the morning!

Yeah, you know, it would be even better if I actually got a chance to work on it. laugh
Its turning out awesome, but you forgot, I would not touch bodywork, which is something that you will. Bless you.
Good to see the results, c4c5 hammer hammersgoingtobodyschool

John, what spare time? confused Thanks.

Ron, that Vert looked pretty sweet. I think you did a little better with the Calloway though. laugh

Paul, you are the main reason I have made it this far. Thanks for bringing out the challenge in me and in what a female can do. hammer
