Hello. First time poster.

I'm looking at buying a 04 Z06 in the next few months but after many hours of internet searching, many tire companies no longer make the sizes for a C5 Z06 anymore.

All I can find is Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport which has bad reviews from cars with much less hp.

And stock Goodyear Eagle F1's which cost way to much for the life of the tire.

Everybody seems to look to Nitto NT05's or Invos but according to their site they don't have the correct sizes for stock wheels anymore. And I don't really want to buy new wheels. I like the stock ones.

If anybody knows any good tires let me know. Aiming for less than $1400 a set with atleast 20k miles of tread life with spirited driving.

Any ideas? Am I stuck buying Eagle F1's if I choose to get the 04 Z06?

Tires are made in batches. So, when they run out it can be a long while before they are made again, if at all. Plus, this is not a common size, so they probably don't make many of them.

http://www.discounttiredirect.com has the Michelin Pilots in stock sizes at the moment.

You don't have to get the EXACT same sizes as stock, just make sure the front tire overall diameter is slightly smaller than the rear tire overall diameter.

Lots more choices will show up if you search for one size or the other, then look at all other available sizes for that tire to see how close they get.

Thanks, the Michelin PS2's look good. The 20k mile warranty is nice. I'll go with those.

What Chewy said.....I made that mistake. Went with stock Z06 sizes and the front looks larger than the back. Won't make that same mistake again !

The Michelin ps2's are great tires for handling, I have them on my ctsv with some work done to it, since then I had to start buying tires by the dozen, because for some reason the back tires don't last too long. wink
