Attended a private track day about 2 weeks ago at the Hallett track west of Tulsa. Total of 20 cars with 4 groups of 5 cars each. A great mix of Vettes including 2 C7 Z06's, a Ferrari, several BMW's and Porches and a car called a "Mustang"? We were allowed 5 heats each group with each heat lasting 15 minutes. This track record is a 1min. 17sec. lap. Even on my crappy stock, rock hard tires I was able to do a best of 1min. 43secs and got in 8 to 9 laps in per heat. Nothing broke and I managed to keep all 4 tires on the track all day. This is exactly what these cars are made for and I had a blast. In fact this was so much fun I think it might actually be illegal. I will be doing this again!!

That's a great picture. I've done a Hallett day 3 times I think but probably not in 5 years.

Thanks Jim. This is one of the group of pics that the professional photographer at Hallett made. You get like 50 pics plus a video for $45.00. This was my second time to do Hallett but it won't be my last. This is what these cars were made for.

Come to think of it, I owned my black 98 the last time I did it. It was longer ago than I thought. Lord time fly's!
